Theodore Gimeno is a French/American film director and graduate from the University of Warwick, UK, currently doing a Masters in France at Paris 8. Author of a couple short films such as ‘Take a step back’ (2018) and ‘The Grey Part of Blue’ (2019), two features “The Evening Word’ (2021) and ‘Bitterness’ (2023), Gimeno writes and directs for the screen since the age of 17. This year, Gimeno plans to shoot two documentaries and a new original piece of fiction, an adaptation of a short story tale by the argentinian author Jorge Luis Borges, ‘L’immortel’. The first screening of the film will take place on the 9th of December 2025 at Le Louxor, in Paris.

Auteurs de quelques courts-métrages tels que ‘Take a step back’ (2018) et ‘The Grey Part of Blue (2019), un moyen métrage ‘Les Paroles du Soir’ (2021) et un long-métrage ‘L’Amertume’ (2023), Gimeno écrit et tourne régulièrement depuis l’âge de 17 ans. Cette année, Gimeno prévoit de tourner deux documentaires et un nouveau projet de fiction, en l’occurence une adaptation d’un conte de l’auteur argentin Jorge Luis Borges. La première projection prendra place le 9 décembre 2025 au cinéma Le Louxor, à Paris.
